How Draw Requests and Inspections Work
Why draw request inspections are so important to maintain your project’s integrity.
Today we’re coming to you from a job site in southern San Diego, where a nine-unit apartment building is being constructed. Why are we out here?
The contractor has made a draw request. Basically, this means he’s asking to be paid for certain line items within his budget. We’re here to make sure the items he wants to be paid for have actually been completed.
In this case, he’s asking for a decent percentage of the lumber funds and some of the money for rough plumbing. We’re going to check that the work has been completed, but no matter what we find, we’re going to report back to the lender. La Mesa acts as the eyes and ears of the lender, and we help to ensure that the integrity of the work is maintained, and all payments are made on time and on budget.
If you have a construction project, we can help you verify the status of your project, and make sure the payments are made accurately and on time. We can also tell you how your project is coming along and how the work is progressing. If you have any questions or would like to discuss your next construction project and how we can help you, please reach out to us via phone or email. We look forward to working with you.
